Rosenbaum, celebrated their first anniversary by heading to Cancun, Mexico.  The happy couple was seen kissing and enjoying the sun while taking romantic strolls along the beach. The couple now lives together in New York and still says wedding plans are in the works. Get ready reality TV, we have some authors in your midst.

Bachelorette, Trista Rehn Sutter (who is happily married with kids to her Bachelor pick, Ryan), will be publishing a book called "Happily Ever After: The Life Changing Power of a Grateful Heart." According to USA Today, Trista will share her secrets in finding happiness and success in love, family and work.

"For years, I've thought of writing a book, but it never felt right and I never wanted to write a book JUST to write a book or see myself on the cover," Trista tells Lifeline Live exclusively. "I wanted it to have meaning and be something that I could speak to authentically. A way to touch people, but not purely the fans who may want to read an autobiography. This book will be that, and more. It includes snippets of my life, but also scientific research and inspirational stories about how gratitude can truly give you your own Happily Ever After." Trista's book will be available in 2013.

Also watch for The Bachelor's, Melissa Rycroft's, new book, My Reality, due out June 5.

What were you thinking when Alessandro told Emily her daughter would be a "compromise" for him?
Chris Harrison:  "I'm just shocked that at this point, with the classes we took in kindergarten, that guys are still saying idiotic things like that out loud. I was in the control room and we're watching this going, "What are you doing? Just say you made a mistake. She's giving you the out!" It was so bizarre to watch this guy hang himself tighter and tighter. I don't think Emily wanted to send him home, but he kept going and finally she was like, "You're too dumb for your own good." Everything he could've said wrong, he did. "

TV Guide: Next week, the group heads to Bermuda. What can you preview?
Harrison: "These relationships are definitely taking off and the guys know Arie and her have something special, which ratchets up the competitiveness. That regatta on the group date gets rough. Those guys fight for their lives to get some time with her."

Emily Maynard and Chris' date: "Emily and Chris hit it off immediately and had great chemistry. By the time they got to the Luke Bryan concert (which was awesome, by the way) it was like they had been dating for months. Chris got the first real, legitimate kiss from Emily, but how it happened is very interesting and brings up a recurring theme this season. The guys are so thoughtful of Emily and the fact that she’s a single mom that they’re almost too respectful, if that’s possible. Emily was sending signal after signal for Chris to go for it but he ended up waiting ’til the end of the concert and at that point he still asked her for permission. In the end he got the kiss and definitely got Emily’s interest. The date couldn’t have gone much better."

On Tony: "Tony was mentally and emotionally done. I thought it was cool how Doug tried to reach him as a dad and Emily tried as well, but his heart just wasn’t in this and she saw that.  The funny thing was that Emily was being so kind to him and so careful of his feelings you almost couldn’t tell that she was sending him home. I was worried he wasn’t going to get the message, but in the end he did, and rightfully went home to his son."

That was the biggest reality check ever and sets the tone for the season. But he enjoyed the date and loved spending time with her and then there was the nighttime part. That's the whole thing with Emily, she can be a mom and then she puts on a red dress and you're like, "Holy cow."

In this NEW media interview with Emily Maynard, our Bachelorette answers questions about love and being the Bachelorette.

Why did you choose to be the Bachelorette? 

Emily Maynard: I had a million reservations about being The Bachelorette.  They (ABC) had asked me to do it previously and I said no to anyone who would listen.  I told everybody I would never do it - never in a million years.  And then, time went on and after coming off the breakup with Brad Womack, the last thing on my mind was putting myself through all these again - and even dating really.  And then, we started talking about it a couple of months later and they were just so accommodating with (my daughter) Ricki and moving the entire production to Charlotte.  I just thought that it is such a great opportunity that I could not pass up.

 

Are you in love right now? 

Emily Maynard: You know, I don't know. I don't know. You have to watch.  I'll get in trouble.

 

Last week, you said in your blog for People Magazine, you thought it was Brad Womack who was in the helicopter. Were you disappointed it wasn't him? 

Emily Maynard: I definitely thought it was going to be Brad or Bentley getting out of the helicopter.  I just thought there is no way just some, you know, random guy would make an entrance so gigantic I guess.  I was stressing out a little bit to be honest waiting for whomever to get out of the helicopter. But I don't know how I would have reacted to be honest. I tried to stay open to everything and I'm just really glad that everybody I met the first night was a fresh face and someone that I had never met before.

 

Do you have a job? 

Emily Maynard: Obviously, there is a lot more to me just being a mom.  The biggest part of my everyday is just running errands and doing mom stuff though but I also teach a class in my church at a middle school close to my house on Thursdays, and take photography lessons.  I'm a mentor to a little girl at a school close to the downtown in a lower income part of town that I go to see probably twice a week to have lunch with her.

Next week on THE BACHELORETTE, Episode 2. The Bachelorette returns on Monday, May 28th at 8pm.

Group Date: "19 remaining men find out when they are "tested" from the start about how they might fit into Emily's world as a dad, as well as working at a charity event that is near and dear to her heart. Now ensconced in the sprawling 12,000-square foot mansion in Emily's hometown of Charlotte, the men quickly learn that roses will be at stake on the one group date and on two individual dates. However, the competition is revved up when they learn that not all the men will get dates before the next rose ceremony, so the bachelors must take advantage of every opportunity to score points with the Bachelorette. A special concert by hit country music trio Gloriana and a charming, scene-stealing romp with the acclaimed Muppets, featuring Kermit and Miss Piggy, at the charity event are real delights."

1-on-1 with Ryan Bowers: "After a quick visit with her girlfriends, Emily arrives at the mansion to take Ryan away for what he thinks will be a glamorous day of fun. But Emily has other plans, as she takes him to her home and instructs him in the everyday task of baking cookies for Ricki's soccer team. Later that night, Emily looks stunning as she scoops Ryan up in a sleek Aston Martin and brings him to a romantic dinner spot. After walking a red carpet lined with adoring fans, Emily and Ryan have a secluded fireside table where they discuss relationships and their potential future over dinner. Then things turn intimate even though the couple are the in middle of a crowd, as they are serenaded in a special concert by popular country band Gloriana, featuring their hit single "(Kissed You) Good Night."

Group Date: "13 bachelors take to the stage and join Emily and the beloved Muppets for a live performance. The men split up in groups to rehearse, but one man has a serious case of performance panic. The men also get a pleasant surprise when they see Ricki for the first time as she joins her mother and The Muppets in a special performance."

I was in love with Brad and what we had was very real and true, but when things didn't work outwith him, I was reminded that sometimes when people grow they grow apart. I never want that to happen to me again and it is scary to try to find love in the same way that it had fallen apart for me not that long ago. "

The letter Doug's son wrote to me was one of the sweetest things I have ever received and if anyone can appreciate how hard it is being away from their child, it's me. I'm so grateful that Doug took a chance on love, and I was honored that he saw something in me that made it worth it for him to come. It meant a lot and I wanted him to know that I would take a chance on him too and that's why I gave him the first impression rose."

According to Bachelor host Chris Harrison, "Emily's season is drastically different than anything we've ever done."  In a recent press interview, here's what Chris Harrison has to say about this season of The Bachelorette.



Will there be references to Emily's ex, Ricky and NASCAR? 
Harrison: You know, first of all, people need to understand that, you know, Emily loves, you know, the track.  She loves racing.  That is a huge part of her life and her family. You know, not to go into the history of what happened, but, you know, Ricky died at a racetrack.  She doesn't have bad memories of the racetrack.  She actually has very fond memories and a great love.  We talked about this at length.

So these aren't bad memories for her and it's not a bad thing.  The fact that - and people also need to understand that I don't want to get too detailed about this, but NASCAR and open wheel racing might as well be two different sports, two different worlds all together.  You really can't compare, you know, what Arie does and did for a living to, you know, NASCAR world; it really is.

Will Bachelor host, Chris Harrison, be the next Bachelor? Harrison announced he has split from his wife of 18 years, Gwen Jones. When asked if Harrison will be the next Bachelor, he responded,  "Getting out of a 22-year relationship, having just announced my divorce to the world a week ago, having two kids and trying to start a new life, I'm thinking I wouldn't exactly be a great candidate to be the bachelor right now or anytime soon."

Harrison says, "I had an amazing 18-year marriage to a incredible woman," he says. "I don't have any regrets about the last 22 years of my life, the love and family that I had or the love and friendship that I have now with Gwen. I still hold that very dear and cherish it very much."

Newly single, Chris Harrison, can be seen on the premiere of The Bachelorette, Monday, May 14th.

Former Bachelor, Chris Lambton, (Ali Fedotowsky's season) finally got his girl, Peyton Wright (Andy Baldwin's season). The former Bachelor couple got married at the Wild Dunes Resort on Saturday, May 5, in front of 200 guests. The bride wore a beautiful gown from Melissa Sweet, and the couple partied with many of their Bachelor guests. Among the guests were Bachelor friends Craig Robinson, Tyler Vermette and Roberto Martinez. Chris Lambton and his bride can be seen on Going Yard, premiering May 12 on HGTV.

No. Unfortunately I am rather shy when it comes to that. I'm pretty good at bobbing my head to the beat while sitting though!

Describe your idea of the ultimate date?
I've been on dates in a variety of settings but very few of them (if any) had conversation that was stimulating, funny, thought provoking, etc. all rolled into one. I guess what I am saying is its the person I'm with more than the activity of the date that really determines if it is an ultimate date or not.

Do you prefer a woman who wants to be pursued or a woman who pursues you and why?
Because I am relatively shy on making that initial contact, I love it when a woman pursues me. It shows confidence and that she's not your average woman. Hot.

What is the trait you most dislike in yourself?
Sometimes I prepare too much for the future and don't live enough for today when I can enjoy it most. Who knows if I will be here tomorrow!
